Impressive is all I have to say.
Last night, I went to Young Life for the first time. It was awesome, a band of me, Emily, IV, and another dude there won $50 in prizes for getting first place in a Battle of the Bands (8 bands). It was pretty good for the first time.
I had an exciting spring break, and I was glad I could take a break from blogging for a while, but now I’m back. I had a lot of fun with friends and family, which was cool. For those of you who don’t already know, I chose to get the navy Juke. Also, I am happy to get back to eating my habit of ice cream, which my family had given up for 40 days like when Jesus fasted for 40 days. This was a very tough sacrifice, but it just goes to show how hard Jesus’ sacrifice had to have been. Well, I can’t wait for the next break-Summer Break!!!
On the hardest song ever made on guitar hero, this guy or girl (probably guy) got 100% on Expert. I’m not sure I could get 100% on easy, but maybe one day I’ll be able to do that too.
During Spring Break, I will most likely be getting a new phone. First of all, I’m going to thank my mom for letting me switch upgrades with her (mine is in December). Secondly, I’ve decided I’m going to get the Juke (picture above). It is normally $310, but with the 2-year upgrade and the sale, I would be able to get it for FREE! Thirdly, the main reason for getting this phone is that it acts as an mp3 player, and it holds 700-1000 songs with the memory it comes with, which is more than enough for me. That way I won’t have to carry around an mp3 player and my phone.
Finally, I am not sure which color to get; this is where you come in. The three colors are: NAVY, TEAL, & RED. Now enter which color you think I should get.
Even though my dad already put this video up, I’m still going to put it up anyway. He is definitely my favorite contestant on American Idol this year. This was his song from this week. If he had his own CD, I would buy it, so I hope he goes far in the competition.
I have never before tried this, but I think I’m going to try to get into it this year. I liked playing fantasy football, and I love baseball, so I think I’ll have fun with it. Oh yeah, I’m also going to beat up on the competition, if there is any. You’ll hear more from me about this later.
Suddenly last night, I began to feel terrible. I felt like I was going to throw up, my head was pounding, my body was sore, and I had a bad cough. I tried to eat, and then I ended up going to bed around 8:45. I woke up early this morning not feeling much better, but I had to go to school for a presentation of a speech project due today. It definitely didn’t help to see someone’s chunky puke all over the floor. I struggled to stay focused all day, but now I’m feeling a little better.
Today I was cut from the Forest Park JV baseball team. It is really disappointing, and I don’t know what more I could have done (being bigger would have helped). I played pretty well, I thought, but there was a lot of competition and good players up against me. I am still playing DTQ baseball, so all is not lost. All I can do now is just try to get better for next year.
