Colossians 2:10

“Because you belong to Christ, you have everything you need.  He is the ruler over every power and authority.”

This is the verse that really stood out to me this week.  This verse is all about giving up everything we have to God, and trusting him to take care of us.  It also says that he is more powerful than any human being, so if you are confronted with a decision to obey God or someone with authority over you, you should follow God.  So there are two questions I have from this verse: 1. Do you belong to Christ? & 2. Have you put God above everything else and trusted in Him to give you what you need? For me, I know I belong to Christ, but I have failed to fully give myself up to Him and fully trust Him.
